Acceptable Use Policy
Updated & Effective: November 7, 2025
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all access to and use of the website, online store, and related services operated by Utmost Province Co. (“Utmost Province,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at https://utmostprovince.com. This AUP is incorporated into our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to this AUP.
The goal is to protect our platform, our IP, and our customers from abusive, automated, fraudulent, or unlawful behavior — on both mobile and desktop experiences.
Permitted Use
You may use the Services only for lawful, personal, and legitimate shopping or account purposes. You must not disable, bypass, or interfere with our security, bot-protection, or rate-limiting controls.
Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are not allowed (without limitation):
- Automated scraping or harvesting: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated tools to pull product, pricing, or customer data, or to interfere with store performance — including activity blocked by Blockify, IP blacklisting, or our fraud stack.
- Unauthorized access: Trying to access admin areas, customer records, order data, or source code, or probing the site for vulnerabilities.
- Malicious code: Uploading or injecting malware, viruses, keyloggers, or any code intended to disrupt or exfiltrate data.
- Fraud or chargeback abuse: Placing orders with false info, using stolen cards, filing baseless chargebacks, or trying to obtain product/refunds by deception.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be Utmost Province, our staff, our suppliers, or another customer to gain access or benefits.
- Reverse engineering: Decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the underlying code, logic, or structure of the Services.
- Unauthorised content use: Reusing our artwork, branding, trademarks, or product photography without written permission.
- Interference with commerce: Attempts to overload checkout, bypass purchase limits, or game loyalty/referral systems.
Enforcement & Remedies
We may, at our sole discretion and without notice:
- Block or throttle IPs, devices, or user agents showing abusive patterns;
- Cancel or refuse suspicious or high-risk orders;
- Suspend or terminate customer accounts involved in prohibited conduct;
- Remove loyalty, referral, or rewards credits obtained through abuse;
- Report serious violations to payment processors, marketplaces, platforms, or law enforcement;
- Seek civil, equitable, or criminal remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law, including recovery of damages, lost profits, investigative costs, and attorneys’ fees.
Violations may be prosecutable under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (18 U.S.C. § 1030), the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), and comparable state or international laws.
Third-Party Protections
Our Shopify apps and integrations (fraud filters, cookie tools, shipping apps, analytics) are part of our security posture. Any attempt to bypass, disable, or tamper with these protections is itself a violation of this AUP.
Report Abuse
If you see suspicious or scraping activity against our store, report it to brandprotection@utmostprovince.com. For normal customer-service issues, email clientservices@utmostprovince.com.
